  1. Help is at hand: there is an easy workaround. Simply open up the Tools menu in Visual Studio and choose "Wcf Service Configuration Editor". This will start the exact same tool, but doesn't open your web/app.config. Close the tool straight away and right-click you config file. The "Edit WCF Configuration" context menu should be there now.

Error: Wcf Service Configuration Editor doesn't present on the rightclick of app.config / web.config. Sol: 1.Help is at hand: there is an easy workaround. Error: The content type text/html; charset=utf-8 of the response message does not match the content type of the binding (text/xml; charset=utf-8). If using a custom encoder, be sure that the IsContentTypeSupported method is implemented properly. The first 1024 bytes of the response were: '

Sol: Try going into IIS and changing the app pool for your application to use classic mode instead of integreted mode
