Production status (seriously this time). See URL for output. Set for jQuery and Y! CSS Reset use. Notes: Uses PHP. XHTML+XML mime-type. FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari, IE7+ compatible. Warning: Servces"text/html" and "text/javascript" to IE (content negotiation). Breaks in IE6. So? Even Google gave up on that trash.

Parse your markup as true XHTML under XML rules through the "application/xhtml+xml" mime type. Works with "application/xml". That is, use XHTML beyond the label, the buzzword. Provides an example of internally extending the DTD with the marginalized (irony) @longdesc. Notes: Assumes PHP. Compatible with IE6-8 (invokes their XML rendering engine). Of course, the extension is nonessential to this template. Instructions: 1. Add a file named "ie-xml-fix.xsl" ( http://snipplr.com/view/20432/iexmlfixxsl/ ) to the same directory as your index(.htm|.html|.php|.xhtml) file.

The URL is normative and has nothing to do with the Source. Because so many blog posts with so few solutions (either outmoded or simply not relevant). This allows you to prevent Wordpress's $script->add(); function (in "wp-includes/script-loader.php") from loading jQuery; then you can load Google's stored copy of jQuery (with gzip, so that you get the as-advertised 19kb, depending on server specifications, though).

Combine with an .htaccess script to transpose URLs. Or simply have PHP parse "DOMAIN.com/var/" strings to URL parameters (that is, page=var). Search for "page title" variable in the page after the header() function.
